Moulin Rouge
I've seen this movie 2 1/2 times in theaters. The first time I saw it, I thought it would suck. The 2nd time I saw it, I already knew it was amazing, and I had to see it again. That last time, I had seen it twice, and so I took a date... That's why I only saw half of it, heh heh. It's my favorite movie! |
Harry Potter
Say what you want, think what you will... But even if the books, the characters, and even the movie are (in your opinion) the stupidest things, like, EVER; well, get over it! I used to hate all of it. Everywhere, it was Harry this, Potter that. Then I hear they were gonna make a movie, and I was like, "ENOUGH ALREADY!" Then, as if it couldn't get any worse, I'm out with some friends one night, and we decide to see a movie, and wouldn't you know it, they wanna see Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone! I give in... I figured, "Hey, I can sit through this, why not, it's only a movie." As of now, let's jsut say I can see exactly why everyone loves the books so much! The movie was awesome, the books have been amazing, and I'm still waiting for th 5th. It's a wonderfully imaginative series of books, and I'm practically addicted! |
HIV / AIDS Awareness
Being gay, this subject has a lot to do with how I think and live. But so many people are still stuck in the mindset that this is a gay disease. IT IS NOT! What's importnt to remember is that no matter who you are, black, white, gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual, male, female... WHATEVER! AIDS is something we should all be concerned about and we should all be willing to help in one way or another to end the sufferring that has gone on for so long. "Until there's a cure..." |

Saving the best for last, I must remember the talented, beautiful, and harmonious Aaliyah Dana Haughton. Her music was a privlege to listen to. Her first movie appearance was a pleasure to watch. And even now as we listen to her music even after she's gone, I know that I will remember her for being "...the only woman who could ever turn me straight," lol! I love you Aaliyah, and remember you always... |
